Hi folks,

This post will get you up to date on my initial problem:

http://www.iboats.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=17;t=014438

Again, the motor is a 1986 Mercury 150 Black Max. It idled great (throttle in neutral) before I had to replace these hoses.
Now it stalls out a lot in neutral. Don't understand why. It runs great as soon as it gets a little throttle.
When you bring it down, it will seem like it's going to idle ok for a second and then sputter out. What could be causing this?
What should I check? The hoses are definitely on there nice and tight with no kinks, so it should be getting the same amount of
fuel it was getting before. (Hoses are the same size.)

Thanks for any help in advance.

bbb
:)

Probably just needs some tinker'in with. Get that base timing right, then dial in the idle circuits, and make sure they are all sync'ed out OK.
