Mercury 150hp 2stroke inline 6 74' - Prop still spins (slowly) when in "neutral"

Hi Guys just a quick question, so when its supposedly in neutral and running, should the prop still slowly spin?

seems like its not actually in neutral, but ive been told by various people that it should still spin??!!

When its not running it spins freely both ways!

Not sure who to believe to be honest hahaha

Thanks in advance.

To adjust find your disengagement point (switch off the engine first!)
You adjust the morse cable (Where it enters the motor or at the morse box) while trying the prop for free spinning with your hand or foot untill it disengages and spins freely.
Find the middle point of this free spinning this way your dogclutch is in the correct position, Completely disengaged, when the handle is in neutral.
simple and quick

The motor vibration may be causing a very slow movement when on muffs, but when in the water it shouldn't move at all. Do you notice an increase in prop movement when you shift into F or R?

A slow spin in nuetral is normal on the muffs. Its due to gear oil spun around propshaft clutch dog, like the old Dodge fluid drives..
