I recently purchased this boat with an optimax on it. it has a 4 bade prop but want to go to the traditional 3 blade but cant find the proper prop that should go on. I was looking on craigslist and found a 14.25x24p stainless steel. does anyone know if this is ok with my engine. if not does anyone know the proper size for this engine.

A 24P prop is a lot of pitch. What pitch do you have now? My neighbor has a 150HP Opti on a 21 footer. He runs a 17P prop.

If you do a lightly loaded wot test run with the present prop ; get us the prop size(near the based of the blades or under the prop nut)
The gps speed and rpm.
