My motor blew up 8 months ago and I had it repaired.
Replaced: Block recitifiers were bad also new reed block, ran like a charm until a last week

Took it to the shop:
Replaced Stator, 6 coil packs, Trigger new plugs
got it back and it sometimes will run right " rarely" most of the time it wont get out of the hole and when it gets under load it makes a spitting sound
video of my motor:

I was trying to adjust my Idle. and ended up messing up the timming because I was a dumba$$ so I told my mech what all I done and he adjusted it all back to normal. 1st trip to him. got it back to the lake and it wasn't hitting on but 2 cylinders so I called he told me to do a spark test and replace spark plugs. the spark test with new plugs revealed that I had 3 cylinders that the coil packs weren't working that's when I took it back to his shop and he replace all coil packs "my request" and he said the stator and trigger needed to be replaced. $2400 there. after that he said he took it to the lake and it ran out great. so I came and got it I had a tourney next day. Last sat. I boated from my ramp I put in at to the tourney ramp everything was fine.. at takeoff it was slow out of the hole and top speed was 54-55 where I was getting 60-64 easily and also I couldn't get over 5k RPM. So afgter the first run we cought a few fish filled the livewells and was leaving for are 2nd spot. it wouldn't get on plane was stuck at 3k rpm. finally my partner got up from we planned out and goto 5k rpm again. there was 1 time during the day that It took off and ran good. and there was a few bursts of power now and then but hardly ever. Thanks for your help. this is basicly the whole story once the problem began.

Great thanks for any advice and tips!!!
I think he went to slapping parts on before was needed
I have it at the shop now and if he gets it fixed I will post the problem.

one more thing the one time that it did run good I pulled the calling off to make sure that no plug wires were loose any where. I don't that 2 times that day the second time it ran like a charm for a short bit but maybe this was a fluke. the motor was idling at the time I done this. I got 7 months on his rebuild with no problems other than rectifiers went out. I think something was happening before I tinkered with the timming by accident because I was trying to lower the idle it was shifting hard hitting into gear. then I got it to where it was on the low side.. so I basically screwed the whole timming up. the last adjustment I made to the top scew on the throttle arm shut her down.
Soon as you have time have a read and tell me what you think!
Thanks so much for your help

I keep forgetting things when he done the rebuild he also replace the reeds and block.
He told me that was the first thing he was going to check was curious if that was the right option
as the reed block / valves are 7 months old

Ok. So my mechanic found the problem. I hope this can help someone else. When I had my motor rebuilt I had the oiler system removed. That is the main reason my motor locked up. That and age. So what was wrong was on the front of the motor where one of the oiler tubes went the cap that he plugged it off with had came off. Also there was 3 more in the back that was the same way. But the one in the front was causing all of my trouble. Amazing how something so small could cause such a malfunction. As a side note when he checked the reed valves he said everything inside looked good. Other than I was over oiling it a bit. I hope that my terrible experiences with this can save someone else some time and money. Thanks for the help.

I just switched from EFI to carb.. mine was doing the exact same thing. Come to find out computer was bad and failing to spray fuel out of 1 and 2 injectors. With that being said I have a brand new fuel pump I bought last week and tried with no luck if you might be interested in it.
