Mercury 2.2 HP serial no. to year conversion

Mercury 2.2 serial number a811803.
I did an internet search, including here @ iboats, and the only chart I could find just shows late 80's 2.2 Mercs. Can someone provide a link or figure out the year of this for me?

Go to mercurymarine.com > parts and accessories > parts catalog> Launch Parts Catalog. In the serial number field enter 0A811803 just as I have typed it here.

The serial number has to be at least 8 digits long so you need to add the leading zero.
