mercury 200 xri power head swap

I have a 1998 200hp 2.5L xri with bad cylinder can i use a good 1994 2.5L carburated powerhead and just swap all my EFI parts on the 175?

yes, you can but you need to find out what caused it to dump a cylinder or ya might end up with two bad power heads..

i dont know yet but i will figure it out when I tear it down. I found a 175 for sale that runs good so Im thinking of buying it in case my powerhead is too far gone.
