Hi..
I have a 1991 -95 (cant find any numbers ) V200 carbed v6 , bought it late this year and not had it out as yet , i want to give it a good going over during the winter period and repaint the foot etc. question is what would you recomend to do with it compresion is good about 120 psi all round , there is some signs of salt water crystals round the edge of the head gaskets so i was going to do the following..

pull the heads and de carb 2 x new head gaskets
new thermostats
new water pump kit
replace fuel hoses and filters
new plugs
pull carbs and clean with new gaskets
gearbox oil

Is there any thing else ?

New poppet assy. Clean and re-torque all electrical connections. Clean and tighten bullet connectors at regulators if its not a water cooled regulator.

Look for tha build date stamped in tha block to determine year. It will be at the base of # 2 clyinder on tha block half where tha front half and block half split. Right behind tha advance timing arm. Small 1/8" numbers (M,D,Year)..................D

Found It thanks 01/18/91 the guy i bought it of was convinced it was a 97 model, i told him it was not the only funny thing is the hood decals dont match that period but this might have been swapped .
