I have Mercury 25hp 1985 y.
... well its ooold but its running Ok except that upper roller bearing is "making noise"
I have pulled flywheel, removed stator assembly and now I can see top of the cranckshaft and upper oil seal.
Heh...what to do next?
Do I have to dissasemble block/crankcase assy?Or is there a way that it can be done just separatly losening something ..
Can I remove upper oil seal and just put some bearing greas to help bearing to endure for more 30-40 days?
I have mechanical experience but didnt work on outboard motor yet.
