Hi, can somone please advise me, if there are signs of water mixing with oil in the housing behind propeller (ie milky oil). Dose this mean the engine is a bad one, there are no cracks to the outer casing of the engine its thought to be a seal gone, should i buy this engine? it still seems theres alot more oil than water and the engine seems to run well! thanks Mark.

it doesn't mean anything as to the condition of the engine. it means fill/vent plugs, prop seal or lower waterpump seal may be leaking. usually not to hard to find water intrusion and fix. must be fixed or shafts and bearings may rust
