I have a 2002 90 hp 4 stroke mercury that has developed a hard miss above 4000 rpm. The motor is on a 20 foot Fisher pontoon I just bought from a dealer. the dealers mechanic said he compression was good and he had done all the maintenance and ran the motor for 45 min. What are the usual issues that mitt cause a miss, fuel, coil, etc?
