That's sure a novel approach. I wish you luck. Or at least for a lucky responder. Unfortunately I don't own a boat right now. Plenty of old motors, but no boat, and no Mercs. Traded my only 4-stroke (a Lausen) away, but I have a Wankel.

Well, I feel funny just pitching them. So, I thought I would virtually find new owners for them. I have several for I/O by Merc also. <br /><br />You need a boat. You must get a boat.... u r getting sleepy. <br /><br />I used to work in Grand Rapids for a few years before I retired. You anywhere near there?

WINNER!!! <br /><br />If you would like, as I told Tucker1 ref his 115 4 Stroke, I also have in my possession a brand new unopened still in the stinkin plastic wrap... one Mercury Service Manual for Mercury 40/50/60 FourStroke with EFI for 2002 and later. A friend of mine obtained a few manuals from an auction house that didn't make it to the table. He knew that myself and a friend knew people with outboards and tinkered with them ourselves. So, rather than pitching them I decided to feel around for people that might be able to use them. If you would like this service manual I will gladly mail it to you at no charge other than postage. Just hate to throw them out. Seems like a terrible waste of information. Ha! I even followed a guy with a 50 Merc one day from a boatramp just to try and give him the thing, but felt funny about it and worried he might get the wrong idea! So here we are... if you are a DIYer and would like it... let me know. Regards...

Rount5, sorry I took so long to get back to you. I've been boarding up windows all day long. Getting ready for Frances. I spell it the old fashioned way. I mailed one out today, and since Frances has slowed down some, I will do my best to get yours out tomorrow if the Post Office is still open. If not, it could be a few days. People are estimating our power could be out this time for up to EIGHT STINKING WEEKS! Because the system is merely patched right now and vulnerable from Charlie. The hell with Charlie.... I survived WALMART today! Had to go to Home Depot for plywood at 5:30 am and have been going since. Sunburned to beat the band.<br /><br />Whine whine whine. Cheese with my whine please.<br /><br />Anyway, I'll email you in a minute.
