I have a 2006 Fishin Barge 21 with a Mercury 40 hp four stroke engine. The engine has run great until today. As rpms increased an alarm sounded at the dashboard and would not shut off unless you put it in neutral. The alarm would not sound until you reached app. 3500 rpms. Any help would be appreciated.
