My motor fired up on first pull today then died after about 5 seconds. Choked it and started it again. Same results. Sprayed starting fluid in carb and same results. It is fresh gas and new plug. Any suggestions?

Start at the gas tank and work your way to the motor. When you squeeze bulb, is gas squirting out hose and into motor?
If so, is it getting to the fuel pump? If so, is it making its way to the carb? If so, when you pull drain plug on carb and squeeze, is gas coming out? Could just be a gummed up carb that is starving for gas. Sounds like the motor is starving for gas, so you need to figure out why.
