help please. have fitted new impeller the old one shreaded retrieved all six blades from the old one.flushed engine fresh water good water flow.fitted new pattern impeller.impeller lube added.when i run the engine i get steam,water,steam,water overheats in 15 mins please advise.thanks.:

Hi,

I don't know which 4 hp you have but the older ones (single cylinder) had a nylon cap on the top of the water tube under the powerhead. When you over heated these engines that cap would melt restricting the hole so the engine would still overheat. You would need to pull the powerhead to fix this.
