mercury 500 thunderblolt 50hp steering

50hp mercury thunderbolt 500
The finn is broke above the prop where doel-finn would mount steering is really bad at slow speeds would doel-finn fix this and what size would I need! Runs great very fast.
Steers good at faster speeds ,but trolling is like driving a truck with gearbox gone !

By above the prop I assume you mean the cavitation plate. IF this is broken, then it should get repaired. It can cause some high speed sterring issues too,the kind you don't want. I am not sure why it would make a difference at low speeds though.
