Hi, what is the oil ratio for mercury 2 stroke 5hp 2002 motor? I believed this is not a 4 stroke motor but I’m not sure about it. I really appreciated any help.<br />Thank you

If it is a 5hp 2stroke, mix the fuel at 50:1<br /><br />But you best find out for sure if it is a 2 stroke and not a 4 stroke.<br /><br />It should say on the cowling, if not supply the serial number and I can check for you.<br /><br />TMD

Hi, I have a 17' sport craft open Fisherman Boat. Can I use this 5HP motor as a kicker? Would it be enough power for the inlet and the ocean current?<br />Thank you
