I have a 1994 60 Mercury missing at wot.I done just about everthing I know.rebuilt carbs and fuel pump.Change all fuel lines and primer bulb.Carbs are adjusted at 1 and a half turns out and spark is there even when motors starts missing does not lose fire. But when i run the motor at wot then kill it the #3 spark plug looks like its not burning like # 1 and 2 plug looks the same.I change the stator, powerpack, battery cables and all grounds are tight. change water pump too. what are the chances it could be a trigger.

sounds like trigger to me - you can check the voltage with a multimeter ( dva not needed ) but it sounds like its weak and not signalling the pack for full advance .

did you check the voltage on both the stator and trigger wires - if stator shows less than 180 volts or the trigger shows less than 5 volts -disconnect each and retest to see if voltage is higher when disconnected from the pack -if you lost total fire check the voltages on each part above - voltage on each and no voltage out = bad ignition pack - ( even brand new ones can be bad - been there before )
