How can I tell if my 1994 Mercury 60 HP serial number 0D296866 is a bigfoot model?

I believe it is. Measure the gearcase opening where the prop sits. What size prop are you running. That will tell the story. Post back with the info..

The Diameter of the prop is 12.5 inches (I measured the radius to be 6.25 inches). I found two numbers on the prop.<br /><br />49-42738 A10 8P<br /><br />LP18014B<br /><br />The exhaust is thru the prop. Can you also tell me the pitch of the prop?

Also, I'm not sure what you mean by gearcase opening.

If the diameter of the prop is 12.5 inches, it's a bigfoot.
