I just bought 4 new plugs for my 2012 60hp 4 stroke RA8HC same as what's in it but the new plugs electrode is way taller than the old plug. The old plug in pic is gapped at .040. the new plug is gapped .025 if I gap the new plug to .040 the end is way up and not parallel with the center. The guy at boat place said just gap it .040 and go with it but it's way off and not parallel with electrode when gapped at .040 plus it's longer than old plug when checked with caliper. Is this normal for these plugs?
