Mercury 6hp 2 stroke intermitent spark

I have a Mercury 6hp 0G189814 and It will run for about 15 seconds after many pulls, and just quits. I have a spark tester on both cylinders and spark suddenly stops and of course the engine quits. Does anyone know how to test to find exactly what is failing? Any input would be very helpful.

If losing spark to both plugs at the same time, eather the stop kill button is grounding out or the CDI is going bad. The CDI website has a test procedure to test that unit.
