I have a Bayliner 180 with a Mercury 115 ProXS. I was wondering if anyone has relocated the alarm inside the outboard's housing to the helm? It seems would be simple since its just a 12v buzzer.
I worry I wont be able to hear the buzzer if i'm out and about with music playing. I know the Mercury's have a Gaurdian system that will help to prevent damage by shutting down or restricting the motor. However it would make myself feel better if I knew I would be able to hear the alarm.
