i had a problem like that with my 150 merc, it was a bad ignition module, there are two and its better to change both at the same time since they are about 300 a piece, if you only change one the other could send a bad signal and short them both out then you'll wind up buying three of them, good luck!

I have the same problem, can you disconnect the alam from the oil sensor , if so how? Regards,

are you goin' ta pre-mix?.. tha only "alarms" that merc has is oiler and over heat... oiler will be oscillating beeps (unless module goes south) and over heat is a constant beep... so why do you want to "disconnect" oiler warning?
