when going down the lake motor runs fine. when you get to higher rpms I get a BEEP BEEP BEEP , which I believe is oil alarm. the oil level is good. any ideas on troubleshooting ? If I clean the connectors where the wires connect to the alarms and it stops this am I out of the woods or is there still a chance the I'm having an oil pump issue ? thanks in advance!!!!!!!

I stumbled onto this while looking for something else, and I may be way off base, but when that happened on my '98 150, it was because the cap on the remote oil reservoir was not tight.

I think.

Wish more motor problems could be fixed by simply tightening a loose cap.
