Hello everyone. I have an issue with the dash mounted binnacle control on my 2006 Mercury 50 Bigfoot, on a 2006 Bentley pontoon boat. Throttle works smoothly, but doesn't engage until nearly the end of travel in both forward and reverse. Cable seems to be fine. It seems like the mechanism is the Mercury OEM control unit may have free play in it. Is this a possibility, and is it fixable without replacing the unit? I was unable to get any kind of part number from the control. as the cables didn't have enough slack. Thanks!
