anyone know a ballpark figure for marine shop to rebuild carb for 1990 40hp 4 stroke 2 cycle mercury outboard?

You can do it yourself for $6.00-$8.00 for a kit $20.00 or so for a repair manual,that's a lot less than a mechanic is going to cost you.I just rebuilt mine from help with this forum and the repair manual.Runs great and if I can do it you can do it.Did not take much time either.
