mercury classic 50 1986 only spark on one cyl

hello guys.im new here so bare with me....I have gotten a classic 50 given to me I know nothing about it except that it used to run,thats what I was told.... serial number is A915522..... at first I had no spark on any cylinder..after finding the (white with black marks) wire rotted in to from the ignitor I repaired it ..then checked all my grounds..still nothing..i was reading some forums on her and got some info..i tried un hooking the rictafire still nothing..hooked it back up and now I have spark on one cyl....ONLY...I switched the green red wire and the green black wire on the switch box and the spark moved dwith the wire change..still only spark one plug tho..???? how and what shuld I check next..

You will need a meter with a DVA adapter to test the switch box and the trigger of the motor. A manual for the motor should have testing procedures as how to do it. The CDI web site trouble shooting section should also have how to test those items. The switch box are usually the trouble, and can be $$$. Testing will save you your hard earned money. JMO

A DVA adapter can be bought at the dealers of CDI products, or you can make one that dose the job, from the link or do a search for it here on the forum

Dealers of CDI products can be found on their web site.
It is needed to test the high end AC voltage of electrical items that use AC current as some motors do.
