mercury gearbox swap

Hi, can anyone help with this.have got a 1999 4 cylinder 2 stroke mercury 115hp and the gearbox is shot but someone has one for sale .The serial no. on mine is 1667-9010 08 ,whereis the one thats on ebay is
a 2004 Mercury 125hp two stroke Outboard GEARBOX PART NUMBER 1667-9010 C8 725G and the number above annodes is 605
Trying to find out if this will fit mine.
