Mercury lower unit for 0A166086

so, all I've been able to find on this motor is that it's a 1985 model 150hp. I bought the motor without the lower unit, and need to know what I'm looking for as far as purchasing one. I did see a lower unit on Ebag that's advertised to fit 1979 through 2001. this is a V6. I am clueless!! any and all help is appreciated. Thanks; Greg

Yep. Same lower was used in just about all the 2 liter, 2.4 and 2.5 V6's. Different versions and gear rations but the plain old 2:1 ratio V6 lower will work for you.
