Mercury motor carburetor fix

Hi all friend.

Thanks for all expert help regarding picking up oil, and how to for service.

I went for fishing and noticed that gas was leaking and disnt know from where. When boat run, gas leaks and whwn its park, gas not leak at all. After carefully i was checking the motor and noticed fewl bowl was cracked from the bottom and the guy who i bought the whole package, didnt even mentioned to me. Please can you guys help me to show a video or how to fix DIY.

You should repost in the Mercury Outboard forum. The Crowley Marine web site should have carb bowl part number, for you to search for it.

If it's the bowl at the bottom of the carb you might be able to use epoxy or JB weld to repair it.

Hi i tried Crowley Marine and they don't have in stock. Is there any way to get it from some where and easy to replace?

Serial number. 7134221
Mercury 2 stroke 4 cylinder.

Can some one help me to find the video to replace to fuel bowl.

Gee, did you tell us the HP of that motor? Most places need that plus serial number to get the right part.

Mercury 50hp still gas leak

Hi all master brother

This morning i went for fishing and noticed when i was starting motor, gas was still leaking and when its not running, gas doest leak. In this forum some one suggested, may be carburetor leakes and they were right lower, carburetor was damaged (cracked) and i use glue and fix it and seems like i am not getting gas leak from carburetor(i think) see the picture brother and please suggest me. Motor is not even starting anymore. Gas is full so
​Endup i had to get it towed to launching deck. I want to learn and fix the motor and truly i dont have much to sent it for repair.

Serial number. 7134221
Mercury 2 stroke 4 cylinder.
Mercury outbond 50HP
