I have a 84, 35HP motor with power trim mounting yokes. The trim unit is missing. I have found a 84 35HP regular mount motor being parted. Can I remove the bottom retaining ring and slide the entire motor up and off and set it on the regular yokes and reinstall the ring? Reason I ask is Mercury list different part numbers for the Main pin.
