Mercury Nlack max 86' Overheating to easy??????

:% how long should my black max be able to idle with the cluch ingaged moving at a craw?

Just bought the boat its my first one.

Is it bad gauges or a bigger problem?

u need to tune it up
check lower unit lube
check water impeller
check t sats

i suggest buy a factory shop manual
read it
if u think u can do it, try it out
if not take it to a certified mech8)
