Re: mercury prop

Putting in your part number you listed (minus the 14P which is your pitch of your prop) into Google provided multiple links to a replacement prop for your motor.

iBoats, this site, also provides a host of replacement props.....in all sorts of pitches.

http://boatpropellers.iboats.com/Me...andard&**********=306562895&*******=800363651

Follow the link, click on the pitch you need and you'll have a choice of props. If your old prop, the 14P you have, works well, then follow the 14 Pitch selection you find in the link above and you'll have more than two choices in replacements. Good luck.

Re: mercury prop

If your thinking of changing a prop now is the time to refine your performance.
If you get us your boat size/weight and present max rpm and speed we might be able to improve performance.

Re: mercury prop

i have only had the boat for 1 summer, the only info a have is its an older aeroliner closed bow with a 1975 mercury 402, as far as rpm i have no idea, i do know that max speed is 42 km/h, i tested it with my GPS. i was going to ask this in another thread but maybe i can get an answer here? i have an aftermarket tach (sunpro) that i used on my mustang for a season. its a sealed unit, can i make that work on an outboard and mount it in my dash?
