Mercury Propeller Question

I have a 1971 80HP motor. It is red striped. The number on the outside of the prop is 13 1/4 R17MWG. Can anyone tell me what these numbers mean...I think it means it is right rotation, 13 1/4 diameter. It is kind of beat up and I would like to get another one but don't know what to look for. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a Michigan wheel, 13-1/4" diameter by 17 pitch...<br />The "R" means it is right-hand rotation...the most common by far on single engine applications.

Can you tell how many splines it has from that number...and if I want to buy another brand do I just look for those specs and should I stick with 17 pitch...thanks alot!!!
