I am wanting to buy a merc sea pro 25 hp in ontario and bring it back to the usa, but the border patrol says they need to see an emissions sticker, which these motors don't have as they werent made for the usa. is there any sites out there that i can enter a serial number that will tell me the emission certifications? They said a form would do also, like something from merc. help!! I thought about just buying it and hanging it on the boat and coming home, but with my luck I wouldn't get away with it.
