Hello everyone <br /> <br /> I just bought a bass boat it is 1979 model<br /> boat the man i bought it from said it had<br /> a 1985 150hp mercury motor on it. It is a<br /> v-6 engine on the motor mount is a plate<br /> that has a serial number on it the number <br /> is 5130246 the problem is when i go to <br /> Mercury parts express and enter the number<br /> it keeps saying number not found. i have <br /> check the number to make sure i had it right<br /> can someone tell me is there a prefix i need to<br /> add or can someone tell me what model it is.<br /> What is the rpm range for this engine and what<br /> rpm should i not exceed<br /> <br /><br /> thank you<br /> tntony
