Hey guys I bought my first boat and had a old merc 200 given to me. The pull start is out of it and I need a serial number to look for a new one. I looked on the plate on the mount and the number is 1561900 but on websites that doesn't show up as a motor. I was wondering if someone could tell me where I can find out more on this motor so I can work on it. Thanks!!!

I need the whole thing rope included so I think they are 20155. 29340T02, 64008A1 and 20162. I am not sure if there is a number for just the whole kit already put together

I don't believe there is a kit available nor could i find anything as far as a kit but some of those numbers seem to possibly be locatable doing a search online and trying a cross check for aftermarkets as well.

The below info is no guarantee but might be worth checking out.

29340T02 = http://www.iboats.com/Boat-Parts-Acc...;amp;q=18-6506

One question you know the recoil starter is bolted in the hood , not to the top of the motor

There is a bolt that goes through the the middle of the hood. There is either a round plug covering it or the chrome strip has to come off and it is under there.
