Mercury Sport Jet 95 problems, Sugar Sand boat

I purchased a sugar sand boat with the mercury sport jet engine. It was only supposed to have some electrical problems but seems to be more. The flywheel is dragging on what appears to be some magnetic material coming from it. Will I have to replace the flywheel, also boat was in salt water and flywheel seems to be frozen on any ideas on how to get it off. Any help on trouble shooting this engine would be great - Thanks

Im not much help on your motor. <br />Get yourself a ser. manual before you start any repairs..<br />While your waiting for a manual get some penetrating oil on the flywheel.Use a brass hammer<br /> to tap on the nut and crank get some tension on the puller and whack on it. Be carefull not to damage the crank.Patience and lots of careful whacks will do wonders.

Those are the Magnets that are inside the flywheel. Use an air impact wrench and it should come off.
I hope you get it going I enjoy my boat.
