Mercury tilt trim issue

I have a 87 115 Mercury inline 6. I was trying to launch yesterday, when I let the motor down the tilt ram came down fine. But when it hit the trim rams, it wouldn't budge an inch. I looked around online for a rebuild kit for it, but the only thing I can find are motors. Is the pump part of the motor? I'm wondering if there is a check valve or something that is causing the issue. Any information would be appreciated!

Thanks

Re: Mercury tilt trim issue

I did some calling around today, and the people I talked to hadn't heard of this issue before. Hopefully someone on here will have had some experience with it. I did talk to one guy who said you can buy the motor with the pump, maybe that is a good place to start.....but my motor is fine....so that seems like a waste to buy the motor to get the pump

Re: Mercury tilt trim issue

I did some research in my seloc manual, they are diagnosing it as the o-rings on the rams. I'm going to call Mercury's "vintage help line" tomorrow and confirm.
