I am looking to either rebuild or replace my current outboard (Evinrude 150) on a 17 ft fish/ski. I found a 2004 Mercury Tracker 125 for about $3000. I do not have any info on it yet (compression, etc) What I would like to know is since I have an evinrude setup, would I need to change anything except controls, cables and prop? Somebody mentioned maybe guages and oil tank? First off...is this a decent motor and is this a good price? Also, what would it cost for controls, cables, etc? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
