Mercury trolling motor

I have an older model trolling motor it is a Mercury Thruster Plus. The serial No. is a223836. Is anyone familiar with this motor? What is the rated thrust? Can I run it on 24 volts? Who made it? Are parts still available? Do you know of a website or other good source of information? I appreciate any help you can give me.-G. :

To the best of my knowledge Mercury trolling motors were made by Motorguide. I don't remember a 24 volt model in the Mercury line.<br />****

I know this is an old topic but I am new to this site and was just reading some of the topics. mercury does make a 24v troll motor they are very slow in the rpm catagory but turn out respectible thrust due to the over size prop. they are excelent in heavy weeds and lily pads; they just keep on chewing
