Not sure what year the motor is. I have checked comp. All within 5 lbs of each other.
Coils are good. I don't have fire to the two middle cylinders.

So " no fire " does that mean no spark to those 2 cylinders ?--Or when plug leads are pulled off nothing changes in the running ?-----If you mean cylinder 3 and 4 it could be a fuel problem in the middle carburetor.----Does spark jump a gap of 3/8" on all 6 cylinders ?

Re: mercury v200 no fire on two cylinders.

Most like the one of the triggers has failed, not generating the electrical pulse needed to fire the switchboxes for those two cyls.

There is this NO RETURN on electrical parts so you realy should test it correctly and positively PROVE the fault before ordering any expensive electrical parts.

CDI has a very helpful guide, detailing which wires to test each component of your ignition system. It is available free here.

ISSUU - CDI Electronics Practical Outboard Ignition Troubleshooting by CDI Electronics

You will need a DVA meter or a DVA adaptor to use with any volt/ohm meter.

The stator is fine, it is generating voltage as proved bby the other cyl's firing.

Test trigger output cranking, when you see a very low or no output on the trigger leads for #3 & 4, as compared to the others then it should be obvious the trigger has failed.

Now go prove it.
