Mercury V6 Head part numbers

Hey guys, I found two sets of mercury v6 heads, the two piece style from the 70's / 80's. Can anyone tell what HP they were used on? The number on one set is 96422, the other is 96531. I can't find a website that shows NLA part numbers, if anyone knows a good site please please post a link. Thanks

It was hard to tell exactly being the online parts catalogs didn't seem to want to show the old original merc part number for the 2-piece design / design 2 item number 25 using a serial number I ran across, https://www.mercruiserparts.com/bam/subassemblydetail/41444647/28180690

I suspect (now suspected) the number on the head is more so a casting number vs a part number Merc used to look up the parts on their website as that's generally the case (but not always either) so with that, 'one way to get an idea of where/what engine size, etc. that casting number was used is to search the numbers on eBay as they have a quite few listed under the 96531 number, https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=96531&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2332490.m570.l1313

But learning from the other number you posted (96422) I guess I just realized they seemed to had bumped the end number up one 'meaning the cast number ending in 2, 'to merc part number in ending in 3.
