Hello, I am new to this forum so please bear with me if I post a question already asked in the past. I just installed the Meercury VesselView module (2022 Mercury outboard 75 HP) and downloaded the app on my Android phone. I tested it at home on the trailer with ignition on only. Engine not running. It seemed to work fine, except I could not find the link or page showing the RPM, hours on engine, oil pressure. Can I assume that when I take it to the river and actually run it, those items will appear somewhere in the app pages. Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

Hi. Yeah. Think I can.
So you won’t get anything more than the basic screen without it running. All becomes active when she’s running.
Very briefly and basically, the main screen shows three sections. Speed, rpm and fuel. Should you click on each one of those readings, it will go to a more detailed sub menu screen in relation to each. Then further sub menus after that even.
If you press the rpm read out…you will get basic pressures and temps on the screen. You can (and should) then press the top of the screen where it has an add or plus sign. That will allow you to select and display a host of further details and readouts to show water pressure, oil pressure and a fair few other things too.
I could go on for a while about the set up and things…but I’ll leave you with just the basics for now. Some readouts require the engine to have the required sensors and/or digital module unit to suit. You should also take the time to create a user account and log in too. This means you can also see exact descriptive detail on screen, from any faults picked up, should you have any. All the best and any issues, get in touch, by all means. I have this on the mercruiser mpi and also more relevant (to you), on my mercury 115 outboard. Basically the same engine you have there. Just different mapping between them, on the 75-115 models. Clocked up over 1400 hours so far on her.

Hello OBouy and thanks a lot for this information. You identified the main problem. I was in my house and had numerous problems with the app not working correctly. Now that I know I must be in the boat with engine running, and logged in, I'm going to the river tomorrow and test it out properly. I bought this boat in Sept of 2022 and the salesman never even mentioned this capability. (Probably because it will help me stay out of the costly service/maintenance center so often. lol) As a DIY guy for oil, lube, filter changes, and impeller replacements, this module will certainly keep me on track. Thanks again.

Best of luck. Any questions…I’ll help, if I can. All the best.
