Hi Recently on the water we moved from one fishing spot where we fished for 2 hrs, moved 30 yards (30 seconds of motor running) and the oil alarm kicked in (beep beep beep over and over). The motor would run but seemed like it was missing and was not running properly. We had a good flow of water out the pee tube and the inside oil reservoir was filled up. At home I have checked the stator resistance and everything looks good. I started the motor up and checked the spark on all the cylinders and it looks like 1,3,5 are firing well and consistent. 2,4,6 are intermittent. I am assuming I have an ignition problem and the coil sync up with the oil pump sensor is what causing this alarm. I'm guessing I have a power pack that has went out but need to do a few more tests. I had a couple questions.

Can the oil module actually cause the ignition problem or cause the motor to not run well?

Can I take the green wire from oil module to power pack #4 coil lead off the power pack with out any issues?

How do I eliminate the oil pump with out pull it out and inspecting?

Thanks
Lance
