Mercury200 20 hp No water coming through peehole

The serial number is 7078791.Runs good.not pumping water.Could it be the impeller or water pump?any idea on how much to fix?Thanks in advance for any advice.

Could very well be the impeller and or thermostat if you have one. Also make sure no mud daubers have nested in the hose. Run a piece of weed wacker line up it. If you don't know when the last time the impeller and thermostat were replaced, you shoud replace them.

agreed mud dabbers are a pain in the ***, take the water exit hose off, and run engine shortly to see if any water is being pumped through, hopefully its as simple as a cloged hose and water outlet, i dont believe the 200 models used thermostats i believe it was straight water flow

I replaced the impeller,replaced the gaskets and rubber o-rings,and blew compressed air in the cooling system.ran some water up it first.Then I blew it all out after.Didn't get a chance to fire her up.I'll likely do that in the morning and see if it starts to pump again
