My engine won't start. It had been sitting for 5 years without being properly winterized. So I took the carbs apart and cleaned them thouroughly, replaced the gaskets and then reassembled. The engine turns and I know it gets a spark. Prior to the carb cleaning I had sprayed gas into the carbs while simumtainously starting the engine and it did run only if I cont'd to spray gas. I haven't tried this method only due to lack of help. but could it be a fuel pump? What else could it be? Please help me.

Sincerely

Slickcraft

sound like fuel pump. do a real spark test. do a compression check. without these, the best fuel pump in the world is useless
