mercusier 470/170

Are the mercusier 170 motors better built than the mercuiser 470? I have heard alot of bad things about the 470 but not to much on the 170.Thanks

Same thing engine wise, exhaust changed. A few minor changes, but basically the same thing.

Ayuh,.... The Mercruiser 170 is but 1 of the names that the 470 has worn,...
