My unit will no longer togle to outside power when connected to an outside power source. I have tried to connect with a new cord and the problem persists. The external power source is the cars/boats 12v power hookup. The green led lights up on the cord, but the unit will not display ''external power'' as usual and keeps draining its internal bateries. Any suggestions. Would reseting the unit (loosing all saved data) resolve the problem?
