merk kills when loading

1999 25hp. 2 stroke on 16 ft. basstracker will run fine all day, trolling, wot, anything in between. Go to load it at ramp get the bow lined up on trailer and open it up to run up on trailer and it will kill every time and I mean evertime. Any idea,s out there.Thank,s :confused:

dlie ,maybe the idle mix ture is a little lean,when you are powering up onto the trailer you are probably asking the most of the engine ,wich requires just a little more fuel,and it is not getting it ,therefore it dies. just a possible guess!

DLIE,<br /><br />IS THE TRAILER AT A SEVER ANGLE UPWARD. IF SO MAYBE YOUR FLOAT LEVEL IS A LITTLE LOW.

DLIE, If the boat is loaded at a severe angle, you might also check the position of the mercury switch. Good luck. -G.
