RE 50HP Evinrude ignition problem<br />I pulled the tan wire and it runs ok<br />Thanks very much,if you lived a bit closer I'd buy you a drink or three.<br />Just 3 more questions !<br />is it the diode ?<br />is it the temp switch ?<br />is it safe to run with it disconnected ?<br />Thanks again<br /><br />Dave

See orginal post. If you cna locate the tan wire in control box on warning horn disconnect this wire, reconnect tan wire at pack and try it, if it runs ok, then the horn is bad.
